Reflections on Acts 19

I’ve been going through the book of Acts and thinking a lot about the incredible evangelism work God did particularly through the preaching of Peter and Paul. These few verses of Acts 19 stopped me in my tracks:

Acts 19:8 And he went into the synagogue, and spake boldly for the space of three months, disputing and persuading the things concerning the kingdom of God. Acts 19:9 But when divers were hardened, and believed not, but spake evil of that way before the multitude, he departed from them, and separated the disciples, disputing daily in the school of one Tyrannus. Acts 19:10 And this continued by the space of two years; so that all they which dwelt in Asia heard the word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks.

Paul’s preaching was so constant, even in spite of some people’s disbelief, that after those two years everyone who lived in that area had heard the gospel! I think that is worth pondering.
